Process
Chains can define interdependent processes with tasks like data
loading, InfoCube compression, index maintenance, Master Data & ODS
activation in the best possible performance & data integrity.
Process Chains exist in administrator work bench.
Each time we cannot manually go and execute infopackage , DTP, activate request in DSO etc...
jobs like this are scheduled using a process chain.
Process chains are used to automate the process of objects.
The T-code for creating new process chain is RSPC
The T-code for monitor all process chains is RSPCM
Local Chain: This is the simple process chain.
Meta Chain: This is the main chain which contains one or more local chains
Note: Before you define process chains, you need to have the Objects ready i.e DSO, InfoCubes etc.
Example: Process chain flow for Infocube
Example: Process chain flow for DSO
Example: Process chain flow for Master data attribute
